JoAnn Ware,  72, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at the North Mississippi Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 12,  from 5  to 8  p.m. at Wells Funeral Home and a memorial service to honor her life on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 11  a.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.

JoAnn was born on May 8, 1949 to the late Billy Joe Patterson and Mary Jean Turman Patterson in Lambert. She was a stay-at-home mother throughout her lifetime and was of Baptist Faith. JoAnn enjoyed spending time with her family whether it was just watching television together or sitting down around the dinner table. Her favorite thing in life was her grandchildren, she loved them so dearly and they will all miss her so much.

The family she leaves behind includes her three daughters, Tammy Bryant (Sam) of Batesville,  Michelle Rodgers (Shea) of Marks, Amanda Johnson (Douglas) of Batesville; eight grandchildren, Taylor Rotenberry (Jamie), Kristen Wilson (Matt), Hunter Bryant (Kelsey), Turner Rotenberry, Cole Rotenberry, Savannah Bryant, Joshua Johnson, Brittany Johnson and four great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Monty Carl Ware; two brothers, Jimmy Dale Patterson and Michael Gene Patterson; one grandson, Davey Bryant.
