Melissa Anderson, 53, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at the Panola Medical Center in Batesville. She was the wife of Morris Anderson.

A graveside service for Melissa will be held noon on Saturday, Feb.5, at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Father Pradeep will be officiating the service.

Melissa was born  July 31, 1968 to Morris Edwin Anderson and the late Dorothy Jane Jose Anderson in Memphis. She worked as a night auditor for Comfort Suites Hotel.

The surviving family members she leaves behind includes her son, Robert Aaron Anderson; one sister, Kelly Yvonne Anderson; one brother, Joel Lance Anderson; and her father, Morris Anderson.

She is preceded in by her mother, Dorothy Anderson.
