Randall E. Yancy,  75, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021. He was the husband of Barbara Yancy of Sardis.

Funeral services for Randall will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30,  at First Baptist Church in Sardis with visitation beginning at noon. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis.

Rev. Mike Jernigan will officiate.

Randall was born May 11, 1946, in Sardis. He worked as a sales clerk during his lifetime. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, hunting and was talented at making crosses. Randall was a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis.

The family he leaves behind to cherish his memory includes his wife, Barbara Yancy of Sardis; children, Penny Anthony of Batesville, Stephanie Tettit of Como, Sarah Andrews of  Tulsa, OK., Krystal Kuchenmeister of Rienzi, Randall Yancey, Jr. of Batesville, J.J. Kuchenmeister of Oxford, Joshua Kuchenmeister of Oxford, and Jake Kuchenmeister of Baldwin; 19 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
