David Glen Burns,  59, passed away Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services for David were held at 2  p.m.  Wednesday, Sept. 29,  in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  Interment was held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope.

David was born on April 13, 1962, in Memphis, to the late Wayne B. and Edna E. Moore Burns. He was a construction worker and was of Baptist faith.

The family he leaves behind includes his uncle, Roy Burns of Courtland; two sisters, Teresa Boucher of Batesville, and Evelyn Rutherford of Greenwood; and and one brother, Tommy Crutcher of Batesville.

Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Bailey Burns, Jr., and James Michael Crutcher.
