Kenneth Taylor, 67

Kenneth Taylor, 67, passed away Sept. 8, 2021, at the UMMC in Jackson. He was the husband of Towanda Taylor.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12,in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow at Black Jack Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday evening.
Kenneth was born on Oct. 9, 1953, in Tate County, to the late Cecil Edward Taylor and Margorette Freeman Taylor. He was a retired welder and a faithful member of the Batesville First Assembly of God. Kenneth enjoyed cutting grass and keeping yards up for his own and other’s yards. He also enjoyed to hunt and fish, and spend time with his grandchildren.
The family members he leaves behind includes his wife, Towanda Taylor of Pope; his children, Eley K. Anderson, Jr. (Amanda), Jessica Alexander (Jimmy), Scooter Anderson (Christina), and Roger Lewis, all of Batesville; his three brothers, Howard “Butch” Taylor, Floyd Taylor, and Russell Taylor; and 17 grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Verna Lee Todd, Betty Jean Miller, and Sandra Kaye Lipsey; and three brothers, Wayne Taylor, Charles Taylor, and Wilbur Taylor.
