Ms. Eunice W. Chitry,  94, passed away on Sept. 9, 2021, at Sardis Nursing Home in Sardis.

A graveside service was held Sunday, Sept. 12,  at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Rev. John Howell, Jr. officiated.

Eunice was born Aug.28, 1927 in Mississippi to the late E.J. and Nora Clark McDaniel. She worked in retail sales her whole life, having been the manager for TWL clothing store for 30 years. She also worked at The Candle Shoppe until she was 87 years old. Eunice and her late husband, Earl Warren, were the owners of Warren Furniture in Batesville,  until 1987. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville.

Eunice’s memory will be cherished by her daughter, Linda Goodnight (Gene) of Batesville; a son, Ricky Warren (Connie) of Shreveport, LA; a daughter-in-law, Jeanne Warren of Senatobia; a sister, Nora Green of Terry; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Eunice was also preceded in death by her second husband, Donald Chitry and one son, Rodger D. Warren.
