Glenda Sue Bailey, 74, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 18, 2021, at her home near Marks.

The family is having a private family ceremony.

Glenda was born on Aug. 7, 1947, to the late Leslie Edgar Bailey and Eva Coleman Bailey in Clarksdale. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and a member of the Batesville Church of Christ. Glenda loved cooking, especially around the holidays when she was surrounded with her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family left behind to cherish her precious memory include her husband, Jimmy Dodd Bailey of Marks; three children, Teri Bailey Bridges (Barry) of Batesville,  Beth Wray (Jeff) of Oxford,  and Jim Bailey (Cindy) of Brandon; two sisters, Betty Welford of Tupelo,  and Janie Dardy of Hernando; 7 grandchildren, Brandon White (Lindsey) of Lakeland, TN, Lacy Pettit (Benny) of Courtland,  Jenny White of Oxford,  Ryan Bridges of Nashville,  Bailey Bridges of Batesville,  Blake Bailey of Brandon,  and Molly Bailey of Brandon; and 4 great grandchildren, Dason Pettit, Tucker Pettit, Knox White, and Archer White.
