Larry “Trigger” Putman,  71, passed away at his home in Batesville Monday, Aug. 16, 2021.

Funeral services for Trigger were held  Thursday, Aug. 19,  at Terza United Methodist Church with interment  n the church cemetery. The family  received friends Wednesday evening at Wells Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Reed and Rev. John Howell, Jr.  officiated.

Trigger was born March 27, 1950, to the late Walter Edward Putman and Beatrice Longmire Putman in Jackson, TN. Trigger was a retired contractor. He had many hobbies, of which included hunting and fishing. He enjoyed tinkering with old cars, and making and playing steel guitars. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his precious grandchildren.

The loving family he leaves behind includes his wife, Shirley Richardson Putman of Batesville; children, Amanda Putman Young of Batesville, Nicole Putman Robbins of Water Valley, Paul Michael Putman (Suzanne) of Batesville; sisters, Ann Putman Taylor (Ed), Marie Putman Rines (Bill), Jeanna Putman Raggio all of Senatobia; brothers, Jerry Wayne Putman (Martha) of Bartlett, TN., Don Putman (Annie Ruth) of Sardis, Raymond Putman (Betty) of Batesville; grandchildren, Madyson Young, Gabriel Young, Caleb Young, Alex Putman, Andrew Putman, Shaun Robertson; great grandchildren, Ellagrace Young, Waylon Brazelton, and Matthew Robertson.
