Lenord Roy Williams, 84, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. Roy was the husband of the late Patricia Williams of Rio Oso, CA.

The family will hold a graveside inurnment service at Cold Springs Cemetery in Sardis at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 27.

Roy was born May 22, 1937, to the late Jimmie E. Williams, Sr. and Vivian Geneva Mays Williams in Marion County, Ala. He spent his early years living and working in northern California as a rancher and later working most of his life at a rice dryer in Sutter County, Calif.

He is survived by his twin brother, Marlo Coy Williams (Rachel) of Loyalton, CA., and brother Billy Newton Williams (Mary) of Sardis.; one sister, Nancy W. Carlisle (Bobby) of Mountain View, AR.; step-daughter, Kellie McCullough (Roland) of Yuba City, CA.; two step-grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Roy was preceded in death by his step son, Richard “Rick” Pritchett; four brothers, James Loyd Williams, Sammy Dean Williams, Jimmie E. (Buck) Williams, Jr., and James Arnold Williams.
