Brenda Jo Sullivan Heathcock, 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at her home in Oxford.

Funeral services for Brenda were held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15,  at Sardis Lake Baptist Church.  Interment was at Sardis Lake Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Crofford officiated.

Brenda was born Nov. 13, 1956 to the late William Sullivan and Lottie Selby Sullivan in Batesville. She worked for Chromcraft for 27 years before retirement. She was a faithful member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church.

Brenda loved reading the Bible, her church and her church family. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13. In her leisure time she enjoyed making crafts, drawing, and working in her flower garden. She deeply cared for her beloved pets, Roxie and Buddy.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory. Survivors include her husband, James Heathcock of Batesville; children, Miranda Heathcock Ramirez, Caysi Heathcock Scruggs, Ken Ellingburg, all of Batesville; brothers, Donnie Sullivan of Batesville, Terry Sullivan of Laurel; 9 grandchildren, Christopher Raven Hudson, Makenzie Roberson, Jordan Thompson, Mary Grace Scruggs, Zoe Redwine, Matthew Weaver, Rivers Ramirez, Holli Ellingburg, Kaylee Ellingburg, and one great grandchild, Carter Rose Rodgers.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Sullivan.
