Another Mississippi city has taken steps to limit the movement of citizens in hopes of slowing the spreading of coronavirus in their municipality.

The city leaders of Vicksburg met Sunday to enact Phase 2 of their civil emergency declaration that makes a number of changes to the daily routines of citizens. The highlights are a city-wide curfew from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. that leaders say will be strictly enforced.

Businesses will be asked to adjust their hours, and public gatherings will be closely monitored for size limitation violations. Funeral homes are given range of hours to hold services. Will start Monday at noon and be in effect 14 days.
