Batesville Municipal Court was held Wednesday, March 11, with Judge Jay Westfaul presiding.

Henry L. Ellis, 209 North Lora St.,Webb, was found guilty under sworn testimony of suspended driver’s license, switched tag, and no proof of insurance and was fined $1,014.

Latavion M. Wright, 106 Turntable Place, Cleveland, was issued an arrest warrant for possession of marijuana.

Shakiffany R. Burdette,114 Lawson St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was fined $443.

Timbrenishia Q. Sanford,122 Hoskins Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor along with non-payment of old fines totaling $644.

Yakisha L. Doyle, 205 Van Voris St., Batesville, had charges of malicious mischief and simple assault dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Lashawndrea A. Taylor, 200C Leonard St.,Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Jasmine A. Sims,104 Sunrise Cove, Batesville, had a domestic violence charged dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Sharice Byers, 150 MLK Jr. Dr., Batesville, pleaded guilty to embezzlement and was fined $348.

Dustin C. Hawkins, 567 Farrish Gravel Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was fined $1,146.

Rodney B. Evans,9540 McClinton Rd., Apt. B, Senatobia, was found guilty of shoplifting and fined $1,146.

Linda K. Gross,139 Graham Rd., Sardis, pleaded guilty to one count of shoplifting, had another remanded to the files, and was ordered to pay $1,146 in old fines. A six-month jail sentence was suspended pending good behavior.

Christopher O. Hunt, 904 East Gay St., Charleston, failed to appear on a contempt of court charge.

Terry Lee Myers, 25 Ford Rd., Batesville, had charges of (felony) possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and no tag sent to the Panola County Grand Jury.

Anaya Darnell-Hollins, 608 East Lee St., Sardis, had a felony shoplifting charge sent to the Panola County Grand Jury. Hollins also was found guilty under sworn testimony of providing false identification information and was fined $647.

James L. Rodgers, Jr, 103 Oakleigh Dr., Batesville, had a felony fleeing charge sent to the Panola County Grand Jury.

Anthony Tribble, no address given, had a domestic violence charge dismissed.
