Jr. High shuts out Clarksdale twice

The South Panola Junior High baseball team opened up their season Tuesday with a pair of shutout wins over Clarksdale 12-0 in the opening game and 11-0 in the nightcap.

Daniel Moore struck out nine batters while giving three hits in four innings for the Tigers in the first game.

Cam Moore drove in three runs on two hits to pace South Panola offensively.

Herron Williams added two hits and drove in two runs with Baylor Scammon and Janario Humphrey adding singles.

Landon Dickinson and Scammon proved three runs each for the Tigers.

In the second game, Dalton McGee and Jamarion Ingram combined on a no-hitter and Scammon provided the only hit with a three-run home run.
