The City of Batesville youth baseball and softball league for the 2020 season for children ages 4-12 will have sign-ups until Jan. 31

Parents and guardians wanting to sign up  can do so Monday-Friday from 8 a.m-5 p.m at Batesville City Hall.

The cost is $50 per child. See Beth or call City Hall at 662-563-4576

T-Ball level will be from 4-6 years old while coach pitch will be for 6-8 and kid pitch 9-12.

This is a USSSA draft league. All players will be put on a 1-5 scale for drafting purposes. Coaches will be selected before the draft.

All games will be played at Trussell Park. Draft for players will be announced at a later date.

All teams will be allowed to play in ANY USSSA tournament during the season. All-Stars will be drafted at the end of the season.

Parents must have a copy of their child’s birth certificate at the time of registration. Age cutoff for baseball is May 1.

Age cutoff for softball is Dec.31.

A Facebook page at City of Batesville Parks and Recreation is available. Teams can expect to play at least 10 regular season games, plus extra tournament games.

Each child will receive a shirt and hat or visor before the season begins.
