Municipal Court Judge Gaines Baker presided over the Como Municipal Court Wed., Oct. 2.

Melvin Black, 5267 Lucius Taylor Rd., Como was found guilty of loud music violation, no seat belt and no insurance and was fined $682 and his driving while a license suspended charge was remanded to the files.

Corey Butts, 244-A Mary Woods Rd., Como, was found guilty of driving while license suspended, reckless driving, disregard for a traffic device and resisting arrest and was fined $1,113.25. He had charges of driving on wrong side, possession of marijuana and failure to yield to officer/blue lights dismissed.

Keith Bernard Cole, 303 Railroad St., Como, pleaded guilty to no drivers license and loud music. He was fined $536.25.

Emily Denton, 218 Elder Frank Ward, Como, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and was fined $574.

Jack C. Donaldson, 3902 Simmon Chapel Rd., Como, pleaded guilty for an expired tag and was fined $193.

Latonya M. Eason, 879 Burton Rd., Senatobia, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disturbance of a business and was fined $269.75.

A’Naya D. Hollins, 117 N. Roberson Apt. A, Senatobia, was found guilty of a lesser charge of disturbance of a business and fined $269.75.

Brent Hunt, 412 Fredrick St., Sardis, pleaded guilty to no insurance and charged $393. Her no driver’s license charge was remanded.

Jeremiah Harrison’s simple assault case was dismissed as the affiant did not appear.

Terry Lane went on the city work program for contempt of court and possession of stolen property to workout $498.50 fine.

Holly T. Bailey, 112 Vick St., Batesville paid her $193 fine for disregard for a traffic device before court.

Matthew Perry Cushman, 5898 Holston Rd., Sardis, paid his fine of $193 for disregard for traffic device prior to court.

Bobby E. Thomas, 2669 Kirby Rd., Robinsonville, paid $193 prior to court for no tag.

Talisha Shantae Lloyd, 434 Taylor St., Como, pleaded guilty to disregard for a traffic device and was fined $193.

Thomas Layton Sipper, 101 River Place, Marks, was found guilty of litter law violation and disorderly conduct-failure to comply and fined $376.75. His indecent exposure and public drunk charges were remanded to the file.

Sherman Izear Cortez Turner, 407 Warren St., Como, was found guilty and given a 10-day suspended jail sentence for loitering, no driver’s license and no insurance. He was also fined $892.

Jackie Neil Yow, 502 Southfork Dr., Senatobia, pleaded not guilty to disregard of a traffic device and was fined $193.

Continuance

Curtis Arnold’s, 412 Dewberry St., Sardis, two counts of malicious mischief and one count of domestic violence were continued to Nov. 6.

Donald Wood Chancellor, 103 Craig St., Como, case for improper parking was continued to Nov. 6.

Marvin Marques Thompson, 550 Hammond Hill, Como, had his expired tag continued to Nov. 6.

Michael L. Young, 209 Cherry St., Como, was released from jailed and has to return to court Nov. 6 for no drivers license, switched tag, no insurance and shooting a weapon within city limits.

Failure to Appear

Tyreke R. Bland, 135 B. Herron St., Courtland, was found guilty in his absence of driving while license suspended and fined $343.

Morgan Lee Cox Jr., Sardis Lake Inn Room 200, Sardis, was guilty in his absence for driving while license suspended and failure to comply with a fine of $617.25.

Carla L. Echols, 3457 Hammond Hill Rd., Como, failed to appear for a disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest and fined $1,222.75.

Kendron Ontario Faulkner, 18862 Highway 51 North, Sardis, failed to appear on two counts of expired tag charges. He was fined $386.

Christopher Hawkins, 240 Anderson Rd., Coldwater, was found guilty in his absence for driving while license suspended and disregard for a traffic device and fined $536.

Tiffany Denise Hefner, 4726 Pleasant Grove Rd., Como, was found guilty of no driver’s license and loud music and fined $536.25.

Jarvis Jermond Montgomery, 201 Atkins St., Apt. A7, Sardis, was found guilty of loud music and driving while license suspended and fined $605.

Ladarian Montgomery, 420 Fredrick St., Sardis, was found guilty of careless driving and expired tag and fined $446.

Eric Nunley was found guilty of failure to comply with a police officer and resisting arrest and fined $648.50.

Coretta D. Shaw, 504B Long Street Lane, Senatobia, was found guilty of following too close and disregard for a traffic device. She was fined $386.

James Wilkins, 777 Parkway, Coldwater, was found guilty of loud music and fined $262.

Matthew Shane Yielding, 250 Cedar Circle, Byhalia, was found guilty of no insurance, improper equipment and no driver’s license and fined $860.25.

Remanded

Jayson D. Dishmon, 333 Connie Ross Rd., Como, had his no driving license and careless driving cases remanded to the file.

Cody Vanshankle, 4241 Shadow Glen Drive, Horn Lake, had his improper equipment charge remanded to the file.
