An expectant mother was sentenced to spend 60 days in jail, to being 30 days after she gives birth, for non-payment of old fines totaling $5,000.

In Batesville Municipal Court Wednesday, Judge Jay Westfaul also found Antwiesha T. Miles, 205B Leonard St. ,Batesville, guilty of misdemeanor embezzlement which carried a $348 fine.

James D. Pepper, 119 Church St., Batesville, was given a suspended fine for a property maintenance violation.

Shaquesha S. Roberson, 201 Ridge Rd., Courtland, was issued an arrest warrant after failing to appear on a simple possession of marijuana charge.

Garrison Carothers, 18087 Hwy. 51 S., Sardis, was issued an arrest warrant after failing to appear on a simple possession of marijuana charge.

Jamiya L. Burgess, 794 Shiloh Rd., Courtland, pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,260.

Michael A. Cowsert, 634 Plum Point Rd., Pope, had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle, speeding, and no insurance.

Joshua D. Hines, 289 Ruby Rd., Courtland, had a warrant issued for his arrest after twice failing to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle and suspended driver’s license.

Curtis Shane Gibson, 233 Westdale Ave., Pope, was issued an arrest warrant after twice failing to appear on charges of possession of paraphernalia and no seatbelt.

LaKisha Davis, 330 Center St., Sardis, failed to appear on charges of receiving stolen property, suspended drive’s license and contempt of court. An arrest warrant was issued.

Jeremy Martin, 242 Martin Luther King Dr., Batesville, pleaded guilty to failing to yield to blue lights, suspended driver’s license and non-payment of old fines all totaling $1,192.

Roman D. Milam, 611 Shiloh Rd., Courtland, had charges of malicious mischief and joyriding dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Bennie N. Irby, III 206 Tubbs Rd., Apt.19, Batesville, was found guilty under sworn testimony on charges of open container, suspended driver’s license, no insurance and non-payment of old fines totaling $3,042.

Garrian S. Middleton, 224 Patton Ln., Apt.9, Batesville, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and was fined $328.

Markevian D. Jones, 461 Brasher Rd., Apt.10B, Batesville, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and was fined $328.

Teogerious D. Collins,112 Dell St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and was fined $328.

Zannie L. Baker III,1031 Bethlehem Rd., Apt. A, Crowder, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace and was fined $328.

Quinshana Q. Miles, 38 Lamar Thomas Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to false pretense and was fined $368.

Earl Wilson, Jr., 311 Hall St.,Sardis, was found guilty of shoplifting and was fined $1,146.

Billy G. Hicks, 225 Noble St., Batesville, was found guilty of shoplifting, but had the $1,146 fine suspended.

Shirley J. Hicks, 225 Noble St.,Batesville, pleaded to shoplifting and non-payment of old fines totaling $1,351.

Brian Merrell, 207 Vance St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and was fined $1,992.

Lauren A. McClain, 183 Linker St., Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed.

Jamie N. Ware, 212 East St., Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed.

Keyantae E. Webb,103 Field St., Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed.

Won Tea Jang, 123 Shadow Ln., Batesville, had a simple assault charge dismissed.

David T. Mankamyer, 13 Cottage Grove Dr., Apt. 3, Oxford, failed to appear on charges of contempt of court and no driver’s license.

Jawanna Tweedy, 701 1st St., Marks, was ordered to pay $1,292 for contempt of court.

Bobby Hankins, 5023 Hwy. 35 N. Enid, had a contempt of court charge suspended, but was ordered to pay $406 for no insurance.

Bradley S. Wilkins,122 Jackson St., Batesville, had felony charges of burglary and petit larceny bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury and also was ordered to pay $1,212 in old fines.

Keyondray D. Turner,130 Patton Ln., Batesville, had a felony-malicious charge sent to the Panola Co. Grand Jury, and pleaded not guilty to domestic violence-simple assault, and was given a Nov.18 trial date.

Logan D. Bailey, 1181 Egypt Creek Rd., Sarah, had felony possession of a controlled substance and suspended driver’s license charges bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.

Holly M. Hale,1042 Morrow Rd., Courtland, had charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia bound over to the Panola Co. Grand Jury.

Jeremy Morton, no address given, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and false information and was given credit for time served in jail.

In cases set for trial,

Danny L. Moore, 201 Gordon St., Batesville, was found guilty of simple assault to create fear, but had a domestic violence-simple assault charge remanned to the files.

Tiffany Webb, 1007 Springport Rd., Sardis, was found guilty and given 90 days probation for discharging a firearm within city limits, but was not given a fine.

Marcellus L. Polk, 295 Brown Ave., Sledge, was found not guilty of simple assault to create fear.
