The 2019 edition of The Panolian’s annual “Best of the Best” readers’ choice awards is published with today’s newspaper.

Readers from all across the county voted in a month-long contest for the businesses and organizations they deem the best the community has to offer.

Although certainly not a scientific endeavor, the readers’ choices do reflect those businesses that always seem to be the busiest and the places where “everybody goes.”

This year’s Best of the Best has all the winners listed and dozens of thank you ads from the shops, stores, and industries chosen for first place certificates.

A few winners were chosen randomly for short features with photos. The winner of this year’s $100 shopping spree is Amber Swindle.

Readers are urged to shop in Batesville and Panola County, and thank merchants and owners for their support of The Panolian newspaper and  special editions.

These business owners make possible a local newspaper, vital to the economic development and cultural advancement of any community.
