The  South Panola School District will recognize three former coaches with the dedication of rooms inside athletic facilities tomorrow and next Wednesday.

On Saturday, Sept. 7, the football program will officially post markers that will name two areas of the new fieldhouse for former coaches.

Coach Darrel Arnold will have the varsity locker room named for him in a ceremony  at 10 a.m., and Coach Willis Wright will have the team film room named in his honor at 11 a.m.

On hand will be the coaches with their families and a host of Panola County citizens associated with the South Panola athletic department.

Coach Ronald McMinn will be the main subject of a third dedication, this one set for Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. in the hitting area of the baseball program’s practice facility located behind the left field outfield wall.

Athletics Director Trea Higdon said the three ceremonies are open to the public and everyone wanting to witness the dedications to the coaches are welcome to attend.
