The Batesville Main Street program sponsored a back-to-school pep rally on the Downtown Square for the city’s students last Thursday. City and school officials were in attendance along with hundreds of students, teachers, and parents. Football players were introduced  and the South Panola band played several selections. Players and cheerleaders gathered for group photos, arm-in-arm, at the end of the event. (Contributed)
