Cottonplant A.M.E. Zion Church cordially invites everyone to worship with them in their Men and Women’s Day program at 3 p.m. Rev. James Wright of New Beginning of Coffeeville is the guest speaker. Rev. Fred Brown is the pastor.

Aug. 12-14

Simon Chapel #1 and #2 Church families in Sardis will celebrate revival Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m. each night. Special guests will be Pastor Fred Butts and the Nelson Chapel Church of Pope. Rev. David Craft is the host pastor.

Aug. 18

The Olive Ray Church family will have its annual Choir Day at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to join. Many of the local church choirs will be special guests.

Aug. 24

Evangelist Outreach Deliverance Ministry No. 2, 12378 Hwy. 315, Sardis, will have a Love Day Program for Apostle Jackson at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Sept. 7

The first annual Community Church Picnic will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at Paradise Point Pavilion on Sardis Lake. Lunch will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Everyone is invited for good food, music, karaoke, singing, dancing, games and bouncy’s for the children. Just bring lawn chairs and tents. The event is hosted by Mt. Gillion, Bethlehem, Bluff Springs, Pilgrim Rest and St. Peter’s. Donations are accepted, but not expected.
