Crenshaw Municipal Court convened Wednesday, July 11, with Judge Mildred Lesure presiding. Lesure had an extended docket because court did not meet in June.

Rondante Brooks, 817 Goodwin St., Crenshaw, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and expired/no drivers license and was fined $398.

Anthony Gordon, 201 Horseshoe Rd., Apt. 1A, Sledge, paid his fine of $748 prior court for no proof of liability insurance and improper equipment.

Taylor T. Hammond, 13927 Hwy. 315, Sardis, pleaded not guilty to public drunkenness and had a no proof of insurance charge dismissed.

Earnest Harris, 217 E. South Ave., Crenshaw, pleaded guilty to expired/no drivers license and careless driving and was fined $259.

Joe Jeffries, 8481 Tate Panola Rd., Longtown, pleaded guilty to disregard for a traffic device and expired/no tag and was fined $348.25.

Shaquinta S. Jones, 413 Jones St., Apt. H31, Crenshaw, pleaded guilty to improper/no tag and was fined $155.25.

Shaypierre A. Jones, 109 W. Franklin, Crenshaw, was fined $63 for disregard for a traffic device.

Pleading guilty to driving while license suspended was Shana Kelly, 813 Park St., Crenshaw. She was fined $289.

Danny W. Leverett, 536 A Old Hwy Rd., Crenshaw, had his no proof of insurance charge continued until Aug. 8. He pleaded guilty to expired/no driver’s license and was fined $149.

Frank McCoy, 608 Oil Mill St., Crenshaw, was fined $346 for public drunkenness and public profanity charges.

Charges for DUI, public profanity and open container for Lacy D. Neyland, 871 Cater Dr., Lambert, were continued until Aug. 8.

Antonio A. Readus, 378 3rd St., Sledge, entered guilty pleas for loud music and expired/no driver;s license and was fined $317.

Felecia A. Smith, 708 Goodwin St., Crenshaw, pleaded not guilty to careless driving and had her case dismissed.

Failure to Appear

Anthony Armstrong, 616 West St., Crenshaw, was charged with domestic violence-simple assault and fined $338.

Jerry L. Brewington, 883 Radar Creek Rd., Sarah, has charges of improper display of tag, five counts of improper equipment, and no proof of insurance for fines of $1,347. He did show proof of insurance.

Billy D. Brooks, 819 Goodwin, Crenshaw, paid his fine of $188 prior to court for discharging of a firearm in the city limits.

Monica N. Brunt, 2225 Phipps Rd., Sledge, is charged with disregard for traffic device and fined $188.

Andrew Buck, 708 Goodwin St., Crenshaw, has charges of no proof of insurance and two counts of disregard for traffic device. He is fined $990.

Johnny Clemons, 799 Radar Creek Rd., Sarah, was charged with driving with suspended license (DUI) and improper/no tag and fined $567.25.

Facing a $368 fine for expired/no driver’s license and reckless driving charges is Karneshia V. Doyle, 307 Church St., Apt. 16, Como.

Jarvis Duncan, 409 Frederick St., was fined $348 for possession of a controlled substance.

Terry Herron, 5691 Smith Rd., Coldwater, was flagged for improper/no tag, no insurance and public drunkenness and fined $932.25.

Drawing a $793 fine for no insurance and careless driving was Steven L. Howard, 212 Jones St., Crenshaw.

John Hurt, 14849 Old Panola Rd., Como, faces charges of improper equipment, no proof of insurance and expired/no driver’s license and a fine of $897.

Eric L. Jackson, 501 Broad St., Crenshaw, was fined $601 for driving while license suspended (DUI) and careless driving.

Nakenzie N. Johnson, 219 William Ave., Sledge, was charged $38 for seatbelt violation.

Careless driving and driving while license suspended netted Deadre E. Joiner, 160 Howard St., Marks, a $448 fine.

Aylishia Kidd, 801 Myrtle St., Marks, faces charges of improper equipment, expired/no drivers license, disregard for traffic device and no proof of insurance. Her fine is $960.

Brian Merrell, 228 Terry Ave., Crenshaw, was fined $338 for petit larceny.

Lee Moore, 2026 Armstead Rd., Crenshaw, was fined $1,245 for expired/no driver’s license, improper equipment, no insurance and possession of a controlled substance.

Darryl Ruffin, 331 Sims Hawkins Rd., Sarah, was fined $1,016 for driving with license suspended (DUI) and no proof of insurance.

Nina  Sims, 6266 Landfill Rd., Crenshaw, was fined $219 for reckless driving.

Jamale O. Warrick, 116 W. Moon Ave., Crenshaw, was fined $604 for no insurance.

James E. Woods, 3899 Mary Ann Woods Rd., Como, was fined $163 for violation of the open container ordinance.
