Mr. Jerry Bolen, age 70, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Quitman County Health & Rehab in Marks.
Mr. Bolen was a retired truck driver. No services are scheduled at this time. Kimbro Funeral Home, Marks, had charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bolen of Marks; one daughter Christy Bolen of Marks; one son Felix Bolen of Marks; three grandchildren, Jessica Rios, Jordan Bolen and Jarred Bolen; six great-grandchildren, Layton Bolen, Weston Bolen, Carter Bolen, Bentley Bolen, Mackenzie Rios and B.J. Rios; three sisters Kathy Gordon of Arkansas, Sue Yount of Friars Point, and Ann Irby of Moon Lake; two brothers, W. D. Bolen, Jr. of Oxford,and James L. Bolen of Coffeeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter D. and Lois Jenkins Bolen and one sister, Brenda Bolen.
Wanda Faye Morrow Fowler, 70, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, at her home in Courtland, Funeral services will be today (July 16) at 2 p.m. in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Eureka Private Cemetery near Courtland.
The family will be receiving friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m.
She was born Nov. 9, 1948, in Batesville, to the late Casey Sherman and Gladys Lillian Clevenger Morrow. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville.
Mary L. Hall, 85, of Memphis, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a homemaker and retired sales clerk. She was a member of Elliston Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held today (July 16) at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home with Bro. Hal Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dickins Funeral Home.
Patricia Hyland, 62, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wells Funeral Home when completed by her family.
A memorial service for Jackie G. Jenkins, 64, will be held Saturday, July 20, at Locke Station Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Bro. Rusty Miller officiating.
He died June 29, 2019, at his home in Chicago after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Jenkins was born June 25, 1955, in Batesville to the late Dero Curtis Jenkins and Ovie Sue Jenkins. He attended South Panola schools and Northwest Mississippi Community College. He was retired from the Teamster Organization.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. He loved his family, his many friends and his beloved animals.
He is survived by two brothers, James (Tawana) Jenkins of Batesville, and Johnny (Rhonda) Jenkins of Walker, La.; a niece, Heather Jenkins Scott of Batesville; two nephews, Steven Jenkins of Batesville and Corey Jenkins of Baton Rouge, La.; four grand-nieces, Payton Scott and Anna Scott, both of Batesville, and Riley Jenkins and Nora Jenkins, both of Baton Rouge; and three grand-nephews, J.T. Scott and Parker Jenkins, both of Batesville; and Gauge Jenkins of Baton Rouge.
Funeral services for JeColeman Leene Street, 27, will be Wednesday, July 17, at 11 a.m. at Batesville Junior High School auditorium with Rev. Phyllis Sanford officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Chapel Church cemetery in Courtland.
He died July 8, 2019, at Panola Medical Center.
Visitation is today (July 16) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary.
He was born Oct. 31, 1991, in Batesville to Lee Ervin Street and the late Stephanie R. Sanford.
