The following actions were taken in Batesville Municipal Court on Wednesday, June 5
Kathy Melton, 126 Panola Ave., Batesville, had a case of possession of paraphernalia continued until a later date.
Kynli J. Hindman, 3147 Cold SpringS Rd., Sardis, failed to appear on a possession of paraphernalia charge. An arrest warrant was issued.
William E. Willingham, 11056 Curtis Rd., Batesville, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and improper equipment and was fined $838.
Mason G. Allen, 671 McMinn Rd., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence-simple assault, but was ordered to pay $1,146 in delinquent fines.
Kerwin A. Faulkner, 211 Tubbs Rd., Apt. 27, Batesville, pleaded guilty to domestic violence and was fined $417.
Charlotte D. Perry, 206 Garson St., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence-simple assault.
Takedria T. Robinson, 317-D Patton Ln., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to simple assault. A trial date was set.
Tameika Robinson-Killebrew, 317-B Patton Ln., Batesville, pleaded not guilty to one case of simple assault and had another case of simple assault dismissed.
Cearra R. Moore, 422 Redbud St.,Oakland, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was fined $1,146.
Jonathan Griffin,151 Love Ave., Crowder, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was sentenced to five days in jail.
Chiquita Wilson, 503 1/2 Murphey Rd., Charleston, failed to appear for the third time on shoplifting charges. An arrest warrant was issued.
Scotterai R. Robinson, 411 Willa St., Batesville, was ordered to pay $1,250 in delinquent fines.
Lanija Small, 322-A Sherwood Dr., Batesville, was ordered to pay $319 in delinquent fines.
Christopher Dodd, 208 Dunlap St., Sardis, failed to appear for the second time on contempt of court charges.
Montez D. Austin, 2812 Seven Rd., Batesville, had charges of felony possession of a controlled substance with intent, possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, running a stop sign and no insurance bound over to the Grand Jury.
Johnathan C. Brown, 405 Fredrick St., Sardis, had charges to felony possession of a controlled substance and failure to yield to blue lights bound over to the Grand Jury.
William C. Dillon, 218 Gordon Dr., Batesville, had charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny bound over to the Grand Jury.
Robert E. Kimble, 206 Garson St., Batesville, had a felony possession of a weapon bound over to the Grand Jury. Kimble also pleaded not guilty to a domestic violence- simple assault charge.
In cases set for trial,
James Cole, 4887 Nash Rd., Batesville, was found guilty of DUI and no insurance and ordered to pay $1,185 due in 90 days.
Thomas S. Escobar, 1140 Robb St, Summit, was found guilty of shoplifting and ordered to pay $1,146.
Lonzo Govan,113 1/2 Field St., Batesville, had a domestic violence charge dropped.
Trenita Windfield, 232 Baker Rd.,Courtland, had cases of DUI, leaving the scene of a accident and no insurance continued.
