Having already wrapped up the 8U softball league championship, Batesville Vision looked to finish up the final week of the season by starting out with a 14-12 win over Able Wrecker Service last Tuesday at J.P. Hudson Park.

Batesville Vision (12-1-1) trailed 11-9 going into the fifth and final inning before putting up five runs in the top half of the frame. Carli Chaney and Tara Love registered singles to help fuel the rally.

Chaney and Evelyn Gallup scored three runs each in the winning cause. Lexius Daugherty and Addyson Stevenson added two runs apiece. Izzy Moorhead and Haylen Hill supplied singles.

Lilly Burt and Ava Williams produced two singles for Abel Wrecker (4-10-1) Lilly Tindall, Leah Tomboli, Aubrey Lauderdale, Lela Sanford, Anabelle Chambers, Charlie Brooke Maples and Kelsey Matthews all registered singles.

Burt, Lauderdale, Chambers and Maples all scored two runs for Able Wrecker.
