Sonic, Able Wrecker split games

A pair of five-run innings proved to be the difference as Sonic outlasted Able Wrecker Service 16-9 in eight-year old softball action Monday at J.P.Hudson Park.
Able Wrecker did however bounce back with a 10-9 victory over Sonic Tuesday.
Kadin Helton registered three singles and scored twice to pace Sonic in the win. Peyton Nicholson, Lexi Shook and Camryn Hopper also scored two runs each. Atlee Dulin added a single and scored three runs.
Jenna Henry contributed two singles while Chloe Slay and Maggie Thompson supplied singles for Sonic who improved to 3-7-2 overall.
Able Wrecker (4-8-1) trailed 13-2 in the third inning before plating five runs in the bottom half of the frame but could not close the margin any more.
Ava Williams, Rose Smith and Charlie Brooke Maples paced Able with two singles each and Henley Burt, Aubrey Lauderdale, Lilly Tindall, Leah Tamboli and Madison Harris all singled.
