Crowder Municipal Court convened its monthly court Tuesday under Judge Michael Roy.

Only one person showed up to defend his charges.

Hollis Coleman pled not guilty to harassment and assault. From text messages he had sent to the affiant he was found guilty of harassment. The affiant did not produce witnesses to back up her claim of assault so that charge was dismissed. He was fined $259.

Those failing to appear in court were found guilty in absentia, including:

Tredrekis Porter was charged with simple assault and fined $409.25.

Monica Pettit was found guilty of no drivers license and seat belt violation and fined $328.50

Martavian Hunt was guilty of violating the dog ordinance. The dog was running free. His affiant was in court and said his dog bit her. He was fined $209.25.

Jarvis Earl Hall was charged with possession of marijuana and fined $459.25.

Aleriah Flowers was guilty of possession of marijuana and fined $459.25.

Earl Walters was charged with resisting arrest. He also had old fines and his total is $868.50.

Warrants were issued for the following.

Christopher Golden was charged with domestic violence, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct-multiple, public drunk-multiple; assault-contempt-multiple and driving while license suspended. His total fine is $3,437.

Glen Biggers was charged with domestic violence, simple assault, malicious mischief, petit larceny, no insurance, contempt of court, expired/no tag and public drunk for a total fine of $2,181.26.

Ellena Anderson was charged with disorderly conduct with a fine of $199.

Michael Cooper is charged with reckless driving, driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. His fine is $1,861.25.

Derrick Chandler is charged with domestic violence and contempt of court with a fine of $148.75.

Ashlie P. Ellis is charged with two counts of driving while license suspended, seat belt violation, contempt of court and disregarding a stop sign. Her fine is $1,416.50.

Bronshun Taylor has a charge of discharging a firearm in the city limits with a fine of $259.50.

Jonathan Parker is charged with contempt of court-failure to appear in court and no driver’s license. His fine is $506.

Crowder Municipal Court meets the second Tuesday of each month.
