Mallory Myers singled in Delta State’s 10-2 loss to No.2 West Florida in the opening round of the Gulf South Conference softball tournament. The Lady Statesmen (22-25) were eliminated from the tournament 7-3 by No.4 Valdosta State. Nicole Fullilove (12-16) took the pitching loss in both games.

Chase Coker singled three times and scored two runs as Arkansas-Little Rock (21-25) were swept in a Sun Belt Sun Belt Conference series at South Alabama.

Sarah Johnson singled twice and scored two runs as Northwest Community College blanked No.12 ranked East Central 5-0. Johnson finished her sophomore season at Northwest sporting a .318 batting average with six doubles, one home run and 12 RBI’s.

Chris Felix finished placed seventh in both the 100 meters (10.51) and 200 meters (21.74) at the SWAC track and field outdoor championships.
