The following cases were heard in Batesville Municipal Court, Wednesday, April 17, Judge Jay Westfaul presiding.

Justin E. Wallace, 1217B Springport Rd.,Sardis, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was fined $443.

Katelyn M. Staples, 114 Holly Cove, Batesvillle, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and speeding and was fined $868.

Michael C. Gross, 106 Goodhaven St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and was fined $443.

Garry D. Cox., 74 Sherwood Dr., Batesville, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle, two counts of improper equipment, and no drivers license  and fined $1,299.

Sunny H. Golden, 2434 John Branch Rd.,Batesville, failed to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle and speeding.

Caleb D. Calloway, 1290 Fowler Rd.,Courtland, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and improper equipment and was fined $838.

Quinterrius D. Jones, 120 Autumn St.,Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and improper equipment and was fined $598.

Albert R. Martin, 106 Goodhaven St.,Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana in a vehicle, firearm enhancement penalty, suspended drivers license, no seatbelt and no insurance and was fined $2,188.

Javorius D. Vaughn, 207 Leonard St., Batesville, failed to appear on charges of possession of marijuana in a vehicle, firearm enhancement, suspended drivers license, no insurance and contempt of court.

Keyondray D. Turner, 130 Patton Lane, Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple possession of marijuana and firearm enhancement penalty and was fined $1,126. Turner had a simple assault charge dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Keatric S. Scott, 122 Dora St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to malicious mischief.

SkyRandy Braxton, 1050 Quitman Ave., Apt. 9, Crowder, pleaded guilty to trespassing and was fined $41.

Tra’Kiffany K. Anderson., 211 Gay St., Batesville, paid a $328 find prior to court on a simple assault charge.

Mikal A. Wardlaw, 501 Lakewood Dr., Batesville, pleaded guilty to simple assault and simple assault to create fear and was fined $745.

Miles C. Cole, 905 Irwin St., Lambert, failed to appear on contempt of court charges.

Nicholas M. Roebuck, 299 Pecan St.,Pope, was found guilty on contempt of court and credited for time served.

Tabatha D. Pittman.,206 James St., Batesville, was found guilty  of contempt of court and fined $2,408.

Bobby J. Perry, 238 Shell Rd., Batesville, failed to appear on contempt of court.

Valarie C. Cook-King, 56 Longtown Rd.,Crenshaw, failed to appear on contempt of court charges.

Bobby A. Thomas,1695 Springport Rd.,Sardis, was found guilty on contempt of court and fined $973.

MacArthur Draper, Jr. 145 Fudgetown, Rd., Batesville, failed to appear on contempt of court charges.

Katombrechai Williams,50 Abram Rd., Como, had a charge of felony embezzlement bound over to a Grand Jury.

Anthony D. Flowers, Jr., 4072 Curtis Rd., Batesville, had a charge of felony-burglary of a dwelling bound over to a Grand Jury.

In cases set for trail:

Gregory W. Pride, Jr., 11906 Hwy. 5, Courtland, was found guilty of domestic violence-simple assault, failure to comply and resisting arrest. Pride was given 60 days in jail on previous charges and violation of probation.

Kevin A. Kassel, 28 CR 2003 Oxford, was found guilty of shoplifting, no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident and was fined $1,860.

Laderious C. Stevenson, 211 Humphrey St.,Marks, was found guilty of simple possession of marijuana in a vehicle and open container and was fined $1,010.
