Join First Baptist Church of Batesville the evening of April 5 and morning of April 6 for its second annual marriage conference. A meal will be provided Friday evening, and a light breakfast will be provided Saturday morning. Childcare will be provided for both dates. United Fellowship M. B. Church will sponsor a fish fry fundraiser Saturday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 236 Highway 6 West, Batesville

Sardis District Association Board will meet Saturday, at 4 p.m at Sardis Educational Building.

April 7

Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church will observe its Pastor William Johnson Sr. and First Lady Linda Johnson’s 22nd appreciation services Sunday, April 7, at 11 a.m. and climax at 3 p.m.

The Liberty Hill M. B. Church, 1414 Cosby Road, Courtland, will host its annual family and friends day program, Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. Pastor Larry Itson and the Salem M. B. Church are guests. Dameon L. Cunningham is the pastor.

Dove Award & Grammy Nominated, 13-time Southern Gospel Musician of the Year, and Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Stice will be in concert at Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael, April 7 at 11 a.m. and at First Baptist Church in Winona, April 7 at 6 p.m.  A love offering will be taken.

New Chapel Hill M. B. Church, Pope-Water Valley Road, Pope will celebrate its Church Anniversary Sunday at 3 p.m. The speaker will be Apostle Anthony Whitaker of More Than A Conquerer Church of Memphis. Pastor is Sammie Robinson.

April 14

Batesville First Baptist Church will host a Gaither-Style Singing at 3:30 p.m. 


The New Hope M.B. Church invites everyone to worship at 2:30 p.m. for Pastor Darin Ellis and Wife’s 6th Appreciation. Pastor Carl Brown and the Shiloh Baptist Church will be the guests. The Pastor’s Aid committee is the program sponsor.

April 16

Passion Week Revival Services will be held at Macedonia M. B. Church, 2609 Macedonia Road, April 16-18 at 7 p.m. Speakers are Pastor Barry Jones Sr., Pastor Alvin Bailey Sr. and Pastor Harlen Harris, Jr. Everyone is invited to share in these anointed services.

April 19

United Fellowship M.B. Church, 236 Highway 6 West, Batesville will have  singing Hymnals of the Cross with the seven saying on the cross, Friday, April 19 noon to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and worship. Pastor is Jeffery K. McMullen.

April 24-26

Sardis Lake Baptist Church will host its 10th Annual Missions Revival Wed.-Fri. (24th thru 26th) at 6:30 nightly and Sunday, April 28, at 10 a.m. There will be missionaries from the U.S. and abroad. Everyone is invited to come and meet the missionaries. Supper will be served Wed.- Fri. from 5 to 6 p.m. and lunch at noon on Sunday. April 28

Pleasant Green M.B. Church, 549 Union Rd., Sardis, will celebrate the fourth anniversary of pastor and wife, Barry and Gloria Jones, Sr., at the church on Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m. Pastor Cleveland Alexander and the Pine Grove West Church of Oxford will be the special guests. “Come and let us exalt his name together.” Everyone is invited.
