The following cases were heard in Batesville Municipal Court Wednesday, March 13, with Judge Jay Westfaul presiding.
Victoria P. Borgognoni, 7737 Parkview Circle East, Southaven, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana in a vehicle and speeding and was fined $834.
Dameon C. Sanford, 207 Gordon Dr., Batesville, failed to appear on charges of simple possession of marijuana, open container and disorderly conduct-failure to comply.
Willie B. Ellis, Jr. 109 Everette St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness prior to court and was fined $225.
Gregory W. Pride, Jr. 11906 Hwy. 51, Courtland, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence, but guilty to disorderly conduct, failure to comply and resisting arrest along with non-payment of old fines totaling $3,905.
Maurice Wilkins, 122 Jackson St., Batesville, pleaded to DUI and improper equipment plus non-payment of old fines.
Warren T. Davis, 33030 Hwy.1, Rolling Fork, pleaded guilty to shoplifting prior to court and fined was $1,146
Krystal G. Moore, 218 Broadway St., Batesville, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and was fined $1,146.
Robbie S. Melton, 171 Eagle Crest Dr., Grenada, pleaded guilty to shoplifting while being given credit for time served and was ined $846.
Rodney O. Ladd, 1105 B Hawkins Rd., Courtland, pleaded guilty to three counts of shoplifting, two of which were remanded to the files, trespassing and possession of paraphernalia was given credit for time served and fined $1,146.
Normya M. Kenney, 8 Eve St., Charleston, was fined $1,221 for contempt of court.
Carlos L. Hooks, 219 Noble St., Batesville, failed to appear on a contempt of court charge.
Tabatha D. Pittman, 206 James St., Batesville, failed to appear on a contempt of court charge.
Jemero Carter, 26 CR 1029 Oxford, pleaded guilty to contempt of court and was fined $1,307.
Demario C. Davis, 1524 CR 232 Oakland, failed to appear on a contempt of court charge.
In cases set for trial:
Dequndes Glasper, 2636 Nash Rd., Batesville, had a shoplifting charge dismissed due to the lack of prosecution.
Kimberly Ostheimer, 138 Hemlock Rd., Batesville, was found guilty of DUI, disorderly conduct and no proof of insurance and was fined $1,832.
Anthony W. Sisk, 81 Emmitt Meeks Rd., Waterford, was found guilty of DUI (2nd offense), speeding and driving with a suspended license and was fined $2,083.
