Kendricus Carlton scored nine points and dished out four assists in Itawamba Community College’s 76-72 win over Coahoma. The former South Panola product followed that up with 10 points, five rebounds and four assists as the Indians (7-9; 1-4) fell 68-64 to East Mississippi Thursday.

Jamarcus Jones scored 16 points as Northeast Community College (14-2) edged Mississippi Delta 93-90 Thursday.

O’Nesha Hunt poured in a team-high 19 points and eight rebounds as Stillman College defeated Voorhees (S.C.) College 73-59. Hunt then recorded eight boards and 11 points in the Tigers 60-58 overtime win over Martin Methodist.

Devonta Brassell garnered a 11th place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 45’ 9” for the University of Southern Mississippi indoor Track & Field team at the Vanderbilt Invitational
