The South Panola varsity basketball teams traveled to Tupelo Tuesday for their first district road games of the season, where they both were defeated.

The Lady Tigers((6-8;0-2) fell to Tupelo 54-41 while the boys were doubled up by the Golden Wave 66-33.

Keith Cole and Eldridge Brooks paced South Panola (4-7;0-2) with nine points. Issac Sturdivant and J’Tavian Hicks each had four while Mari Boyd added three points.

Jamorris House and Terry Bishop supplied two points apiece.

South Panola returns home today to face Grenada at 4 p.m
