Delta Academy took three-of-four games from visiting North Delta Tuesday in high school basketball action.

The Junior High Raider boys came away with a 40-33 victory while the girls edged North Delta 31-29. Shelby Boone and Sophie Williams led the Lady Wave with 10 points each. Libby Miller added five while Paizlee Woods and Ellie Gray finished with two each.

On the varsity side, the Delta boys slipped past North Delta 51-47. Ryan Gibson paced the Green Wave (1-2) with 13 points. Ben Rowsey added eight points while Chris Burchfield chipped in with seven. Carter Gee supplied four with Colin Hartman and Drake Barton garnering two points apiece.

The North Delta Lady Wave avoided a Delta home sweep with a 66-30 victory. Ally Alford led all scorers with 24 points. Sayle Stennett contributed with 10. Other scorers included, Shelby Boone eight points, Hannah Bollinger seven, Faith Bollinger five, Sydney Talley six and Isabella Morrow with four points.

North Delta played at Lee,Ark. last night. Their scheduled game at home tonight versus Heritage was cancelled due to the Patriots still being in the MAIS football playoffs.

The Green Wave hosts Leake Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m with just the varsity girls and boys in action.
