Bryant Lane Cowboy Church in Sarah is expanding its ministry through internet radio podcast beginning this Sunday, December 3 through Undefined Radio, playing “Texas Red Dirt” music and classic country music with meaningful messages, according to church spokesman and Deacon Rip Copeland.
Copeland said the podcasts will run from 8 a.m. -10 a.m. with intentions to later add church service or “Church in the Dirt” for their listeners.
Copeland currently hosts Rip’s Red Dirt show on that medium and said earlier this week that he and others had made practice broadcasts for the past two Sundays prior to announcing this Sunday’s show.
The Sarah based church was begun approximately 10 years ago by nine or ten founding members as an outreach for people in rodeo, cattle business or equestrian events and other people who might feel more comfortable in a nontraditional church setting, explained Copeland.
Copeland said the current attendance averages around 85.
Undefined Radio owner Chad Martin has seen increasing numbers of listeners through the medium according to Copeland who reminds potential listeners that an app is available for electronic devices free from the Android or Apple app store.
