Jacelee Matthew Gann

BATESVILLE–Graveside services for infant Jacelee Matthew Gann, son of Jennifer Copeland of Batesville and Dale Gann of Pontotoc, were Friday, October 6, at Crowder Cemetery.
Along with his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Kaden and Alejandro Gann of Batesville; maternal grandmother Pamela Copeland of Lambert; maternal grandfather Darrell Copeland of Lambert; paternal grandmother Joann Alred of Batesville; paternal grandfather Johnny Alred of Batesville. A host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Jacelee.

Johnny E. Jones Sr.

TILLATOBA–Johnny E. Jones Sr. died October 4 at North Delta Hospice in Southaven.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Cooley’s Mortuary. Carl Ray will officiate. Burial will be in the Jones Family Cemetery in Tillatoba. Visitation will be Wednesday at Cooley’s Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Mr. Jones was born in Charleston March 11, 1952 to Charles W. and Alma Taylor Jones.
He was a retired factory worker and belonged to Taylor Chapel C.M.E. Church, Cascilla.

Lewis Smith

ST. LOUIS, Mo.–Lewis Smith, 65, died Monday, October 2.
Visitation will be Friday, October 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anthony Funeral Home Chapel, West Memphis, Ark. Services will be Saturday, October 14, noon in Springhill Asa M. B. Church at Courtland, with visitation two hours prior to service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Tiffanie Smith of Dallas; a son, Leon Flowers of Memphis; three sisters, Mary Faulkner, Florene Smith of Batesville and Doris Brown of Courtland; five brothers, Martin Smith Jr., Tony Smith of Courtland, Sundance Smythe of El Paso, Texas, Ralph Smith of Lambert, and Darrell Smith of Batesville, and 2 grandchildren.
