Burglaries reported over weekend in area of King and Noble Streets

Two burglaries were all that were reported in weekend occurrence reports provided by Batesville Police Department.
Patrolman Jason Irby was dispatched to King Street for an alarm call with the resident stating he left the home around 6:30 a.m. and arrived back at 12:15 p.m. after an alarm call.
The resident noticed that someone had kicked  or hit the back door with an object, “busting the door frame.”
Nothing was missing from the home according to the report which also stated no other damage was apparent.
Nearby on Noble Street, Irby received another call around 2 p.m. to investigate a break-in where an air conditioner had been removed from the resident’s window.
The resident stated that someone had gone through her closet and jewelry box but nothing was missing except a big jar on her dresser  containing $100.
The resident said she received a call from a possible suspect around 2 p.m asking where she was then named two suspects who could have been involved because they were seen around the home near the time of the incident according to Irby’s report.
