MSU vs. UMass to Kick off September 24

STARKVILLE – Mississippi State’s road football game at University of Massachusetts on Saturday, Sept. 24 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., it was announced Thursday.
The television network for the contest will be announced at a later date.
It will be the Bulldogs’ seventh straight year of playing at least one game in an NFL stadium. Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, represents the sixth different NFL venue that MSU has played in during the Dan Mullen era. It marks the Bulldogs’ first trip to the Northeast since defeating Syracuse, 24-17, on Sept. 6, 1986.
Five of MSU’s 2016 contests have designated game times. The remainder of MSU’s kickoff times and television networks will be announced during the season.
