Town of Sardis officials are expected to approve the low bid of Heritage Builders LLC of Oxford in the amount of $120,425 for repaving of Main Street and $53,875 for repaving Back Street.
The only other bid was that of Double S. Inc. of Grenada in the amount of $175,400 and $55,250 respectively.

Town officials plan to use Tourism Tax money, a two percent tax of restaurants and lodging, to pay for the infrastructure improvements according to Sardis Mayor Billy Russell.
