Playing on the turf in Robert H. Dunlap Stadium, the boys soccer team took two straight games to celebrate playing at           home for the first time this season.

Monday night senior Steven Collins was responsible for all three goals in the 3-1 win.

Collins scored the first goal with 27:48 left in the first half. Goalie Gehrig Griffin kept Grenada scoreless with a block at 24:39.

South Panola (4-3) went ahead 2-0 on Collins second goal with 5:33 left in the half. He took the handoff, worked the ball down field between two Grenada defenders and there was no challenge from the Grenada goalie as he put the ball in the net. That score held at halftime.

In the second half, junior Noah Willis stole the ball and took a shot at the goal, but the Grenada goalie blocked the shot.

Not long after, Collins scored his third and final goal with 36:12 left in the game.

Senior Cole Rotenberry got a penalty kick at the 25:13 mark but it was too high and sailed over the goal.

Later in the half, Grenada had a chance to avoid a shut out with a penalty kick at 22:17 but it was blocked.

However, the next penalty shot for Grenada went into the goal with 17:40 left in the game to cut the Tiger lead 3-1. The game got a little more physical in the last 18 minutes which led to the Grenada penalty shot from the goal line.

Turner Rotenberry got an assist on one of the goals by Collins and he also had a shot. Jordan Tubbs took four shots.

Griffin had four saves in the game.

Grenada Girls 12, SP 0

The South Panola girls just could not get anything going. Grenada built an 8-0 lead at halftime.

The Lady Tigers could not get the ball into Grenada territory very often and the Lady Chargers took advantage of the ball in scoring position.

Goalie Rebekah Garner had seven saves in the game.

South Panola (0-6) has only scored one goal this season.
