Vandalism reported to car parked at residence Sunday 10/13/2015

Batesville Police Department’s incident reports released Monday from the previous weekend include alleged vandalism to an automobile parked at a residence on King Street October 10.
Patrolman Mark Mills spoke with the owner who stated that she left the vehicle at the residence over the night and returned to find cigarette burn marks inside and the engine knocking.
The owner stated she would later come by the police station to file charges against those she thought responsible.
Patrolman Steve McLarty’s report of October 11 stated that a woman came to the police station around 9 a.m complaining that she and her boyfriend were in an argument and she asked him to leave.
According to the report, when he went to her vehicle, a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, damaged the front grill, “ . . .then hit the driver side with a stick with nails in it causing damage to the driver side.
The report went to indicate the vehicle’s owner did not want to file charges.
An early Monday report from Patrolman Nick Johnson indicated that an employee of Raceway was made aware of a missing tag on her car at Hernando.
She said she last saw her tag on Saturday while at work according to the report that stated she was advised to go to the local law enforcement agency in reference to her tag.
