Soccer Registration
City of Batesville Parks and Recreation announces registration for the 2014 fall soccer program. Registration for youth 4-14 will be held Tuesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 20 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Trussell Park.
The cost for registration is $20 per child. There will be a $10 late fee for anyone registering after August 25.

Fall softball
Men’s Fall softball registration  has been set by the City of Batesville Parks and Recreation.
Softball league registration will be held Tuesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 20 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Trussell Park.
A deposit of $100 is due at registration. No teams will be allowed to register after August 25.

Hunter education
Hunter education courses will be taught in Panola County Saturdays, August 15, September 19 and October 17.
Registration is required online at www.mdwfp.com, click on Hunter’s Ed classes. Locations and times will be given upon registration.

SP baseball alumni day
South Panola Baseball Diamond Club announced an alumni baseball game on Saturday, October 3.
The South Panola Alumni day will be filled with activities including:
Homerun Derby-($10.00 entry fee) open to the first 20 to sign up.
Radar gun- ($5.00 for 5 pitches)
Silent Auction
Alumni games- (alumni will be put on teams according to graduation year. Hopefully we will have several teams.)

Entry fee is $25 per alumni player (this includes a shirt and a lunch plate)

Sign in starts at 9 a.m. with homerun derby starting at 9:30 a.m., followed by the alumni games.
