The Local Yokel Show that airs every Saturday morning will air from 6-8 p.m. this Saturday for their 12th Anniversary Live on Country 100.5.

The show spotlights local talent each week and show founder co-MC/DJ Ricky Swindle says, “(We) got some dandies coming this Saturday night including: Steve McGregory, Delisa McGregory-Brown, Jim Ellis, Kate Ellis Molly Ellis, Kayla Brower Sargent, Tony Boyd, Jason Evans, Jason Adams, Tim Whitworth, Harvey Byars, Mark Hendren, Mike Swindle, Rylan Clair Hughes, Johnny Pace and yours truly, me.”

“One of the most requested singers on the show is a fella who only has two songs recorded that we play, but he will be there for the 12th anniversary show,” Swindle promised on his Facebook page.

That “fella” is his brother, and business partner Mike Swindle who will be singing a classic Merle song.
“Tune in. We got a good line up and a few more surprise local artists in store to entertain you,” Swindle said.
