A much-anticipated signing day happened for state champion South Panola Tigers. Fourteen seniors signed to play on the next level, three with division 1 schools and 11 with community colleges.

Athlete Darrell Henderson signed with the University of Memphis, while Ephraim “Chevron” Kitchen signed with Louisiana Tech of Ruston, La., and Jarien Barksdale will join his older brother Justin at the University of Southeast Louisiana in Hammon, La.

Signing with community colleges are: Kamdon Edwards and Dqmarcus Shawn with Itawamba Community College; Anfernee “Buddy” Benson and Stegan Smith, Holmes Community College; Brycen Robinson and John Ellis, Mississippi Delta; Ryan Lee, Demetrius Gleaton and Desmond Lester, East Mississippi; Reggie Morris, Southwest Community College; Chance Griffin and Anthony Sims, Coahoma Community College.

Lee is already registered and attending school at East Mississippi.
