C Spire’s Fiber to the Home fish fry, postponed by weather last Saturday, will be held Saturday, August 16, to promote pre-registration for Batesville neighborhoods to become Fiberhoods with 1Gbps internet speed.

The Fiber to the Home Party is sponsored by Representative Lataisha Jackson, the City of Batesville and the Panola Partnership.

C Spire is offering to build a high speed fiber optic network in Batesville’s fiberhoods with sufficient signup. With fiber optic internet, speeds are up to 100 times faster with no buffering. The fish fry will be held at C Spire’s new store, 191 Covenant Crossing, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
