Batesville Municipal Court was held Monday, December 23 instead of its normal time on Wednesday due to the Christmas holidays, leading to a very short docket.

Judge Bill McKenzie continued a case for Codie L. Jones, 7150 Country Oaks, Southaven, for DUI-refusal, public profanity and no proof of insurance.

A case for felony shoplifting for Mary L. Taylor, 8 Country Village, Courtland, was bound over to the grand jury.

Next Municipal Court session will be held Monday, December 30 at 8:30 a.m.
