A season for the record books has come to an end for the North Panola Cougar football team.
The Cougars went 7-6 and ended their run in the second round of playoffs against Cleveland East Side on Friday, losing 57-38.

Regardless of the outcome, the Cougars and the Trojans put up a fight.

The Cougars jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter on a 45-yard run by junior quarterback Jatavious Farmer, a four-yard run by junior tightend Willie Hibbler and a 22-yard interception return by Robert Oliver. All three two-point conversions were good with two by Hibbler and one by Farmer.
