BATESVILLE — Eddie Clarence Brewer, 67, died Thursday, August 15, 2013, at his residence on Harmon Road.
Services were held Saturday at Dickins Funeral Home. Michael Bates officiated. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Brewer, born Oct. 5, 1945, to the late Clarence Alexander Brewer and Edna Mable Fletcher Brewer, attended Batesville Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a farmer and retired millwright.
Survivors include: his wife, Kathy Gordon Brewer of Batesville; two daughters, Angela Barnett (Tim) and Karon Tutor (Bill) both of Courtland; three sisters, Loretta Butler of Sardis, Joan O’Neal of Batesville and Janet Howell of Memphis; two brothers, Bobby Brewer and Larry Brewer, both of Batesville and four grandchildren.
SARDIS — Charles E. Galmore, 66, retired auto mechanic, died August 13, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Miss in Oxford.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Mt. Gillion M. B. Church in Sardis. Hodges-Freeman Funeral Home Oxford had charge.
Survivors included; his wife, Irene Galmore of Sardis; one son, Michael Galmore of Sardis; one sister, Allie V. Galmore of Sardis; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at North Panola High School in Sardis. Rodgers Funeral Home had charge.
Survivors include: his wife, Celeste Joyner of Crenshaw; a daughter, Lataunya Robinzine of Southaven; a son, Travis Buck of Byhalia; two sisters, Barbara Morgan-Hazel of Crest, Ill. and Diane Ward of Coldwater; two brothers, Wayne Carr of Holly Springs and Tyrone Carr of Coldwater; and five grandchildren.
