The Batesville Tiger’s held their first practice Tuesday at Robert H. Dunlap Stadium. Coach Travis Sanford shows Jordan Draper how it is done. About 50 players attended practice as many were still on vacation. They will continue practice Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of each week starting at 6 p.m. Coaching the 7-8 age group will be James Dean, Dino Stutts and Anthony Draper. For the 9-10 group, coaches include Roosevelt Jones, Travis Sanford, Kendrick Key, Dorian Sanford and Ked McGee. The 11-12 age group will be coached by Eric Bibbs, Tavares Lee and Terrance Pope. Fred Hentz is the director of the league.
