School starts in 11 days for students in the South Panola and North Panola School Districts. Pupils in grades K-12 start school on Tuesday, August 6.
North Delta School will ease into session with half-day schedules for K-12 August 8 and 9. The school will host an open house on Thursday, August 8 at 5 p.m. and fans can “Meet the Wave” at 6 p.m.

Back-to-school events are also planned at Batesville Middle School (Friday, August 2, 5-6 p.m., “Meet the Teacher Night”); Batesville Intermediate School, where students and parents can meet teachers from 3:30-5 p.m. on Monday, August 5; Batesville Elementary, where “Back to School Night” will be held August 5 from 4-6 p.m.

At Batesville Junior High, parents may pick up their children’s schedules August 1-2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school office. Incoming seventh graders will need to bring a certificate of compliance form proving they’ve had the Tdap immunization.

A Como Elementary, pre-registration for kindergarten will be held July 29-30 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
