A woman was in critical condition Monday at The Med while her husband is charged with shooting her.
Donald Trantham, 54, is charged with domestic violence aggravated assault. Authorities allege he shot wife Kasandra Trantham, 39, Saturday night at their home at 398 Tubbs Road.
Kasandra Trantham has undergone several surgeries and is in “serious condition,” said BPD Detective George Williford.
Williford said a handgun was allegedly used in the shooting but would not disclose further details, citing an ongoing investigation.
Donald Trantham is in custody on a $250,000 bond, said the detective.
Donald Trantham and Kasdandra Webster were listed in The Panolian in October among marriage license applicants.
